FAQ
What is OnlyDancers?
OnlyDancers is a FOOM product — a decentralized dance contest platform where music creators host campaigns, dancers compete by submitting dance videos, and viewers discover emerging talent. Creators deposit a prize pool, dancers pay a $5 entry fee to participate, and winners receive payouts based on variable reward tiers determined by on-chain governance, judges, and community voting.
How do I enter a contest?
Pay the $5 entry fee to register for the contest. Record your dance video to the creator's song, then upload it to YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram using the exact description provided on the contest page. Your video will be reviewed and ranked according to the contest rules.
How are winners selected?
Winners are selected through a combination of on-chain governance mechanisms, judge scores, and community voting for special categories. The platform uses variable reward tiers to distribute prizes across multiple winners — the launch campaign features 16 tiers with 1,838 winners selected from up to 100,000 participants.
How do I receive my prize?
Payouts are executed on-chain in USDC via the FoomD2E smart contract directly to your Ethereum wallet. Alternatively, you can withdraw your earnings to your bank account via Stripe if you prefer to receive fiat USD.
What payment methods are supported?
OnlyDancers supports multiple payment methods through Stripe: BLIK, debit and credit cards, Przelewy24 (P24), and ACH Direct Debit. Choose the method that works best for your region and preferences.
Can I enter multiple contests?
Yes, you can enter multiple contests on OnlyDancers. However, each individual contest allows only one submission per dancer to ensure fair competition.
Do I need a crypto wallet?
Not necessarily. If you prefer to deposit and withdraw fiat USD, you can use Stripe without a crypto wallet. However, a crypto wallet (like MetaMask) is required if you want to receive your USDC prize payouts directly on-chain on Ethereum mainnet.
What platforms can I upload my dance video to?
You can upload your dance video to any of these platforms: YouTube Shorts (up to 3 minutes), TikTok (up to 10 minutes in the app), or Instagram Reels. Make sure to use the exact description provided on the contest page so your submission can be properly identified and tracked.
What is the Lucky Draw?
The Lucky Draw is a special tier where winners are selected randomly from all participants, regardless of ranking or voting scores. This gives every dancer a chance to win a prize even if their video doesn't rank highest, creating equal opportunity across the competition.
How does the prize pool work?
The music creator deposits an initial prize pool to launch the campaign. Every dancer who enters contributes their $5 entry fee to the pool, which is combined with the creator's deposit to form the total prize pool. For the launch campaign, the creator deposited $50,000, and with 100,000 expected participants at $5 each, the total pool reaches $550,000 — split across 16 reward tiers.
